La celebración de Halloween en la escuela se  aborda como parte de la cultura inglesa, se trabaja sobre el origen de dicho festejo y se realizan actividades y juegos como suelen hacerlo en su país de origen.

Dictionary Detectives!

Words, words, words...

The 3rd graders are Dictionary Detectives! 

The words were taken from The Emperor's New Clothes, a reader adapted from the classic story by Hans Christian Andersen.

"A World of Wonderful Stories"

Annual project for improving the Reading Skill in the EFL.

The students work divided in groups of five. They read the story they have chosen (with teacher's help) and complete a story map (with teacher and librarian's help ). Every student is in charge of completing a part of the story map and drawing the part of the story they like most. Finally, one or two members of each group read the story to the rest of the class and read the story map.

Hans Christian Andersen (1805-1875) was a Danish author best known for writing children's stories including "The Ugly Duckling" , "The Emperor's New Clothes", " The Tin Soldier" and "The Princess and the Pea".
